The Key to Harvest
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire . . . Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. Hebrews 12:28-29; 13:15 NKJV
Harvest is the season for gathering in a crop; it is reaping something that you’ve sowed whether it is faith in a seed sowed believing a promise, a prophetic Word, a dream, or a vision. The key to harvest is living in the present moment and giving thanks continually. Like Joseph (see Gen. 37-50), until the Word of the Lord comes to pass, just know that God is refining you or working some things in you or out of you, but never think that nothing is happening. It is done! Your harvest is so now.
Every believer has received an unshakeable kingdom (Luke 17:21) and should show gratitude, serving God with reverence and godly fear, continually praising God and giving thanks to Him. The harvest God has given you is so now and He is a jealous God that will consume with fire everything and everyone who comes between you to threaten the manifestation of your harvest (Duet. 4:4:21-24), but the key to harvest is also the “key of David” (Isa. 22:22; Rev. 3:7-8).
The “key of David” necessitates (1) having the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16; Eph. 4:23; Phil. 2:5); (2) understanding that you are called by His name (2 Chron. 7:17). God’s name is “I Am” (Ex. 3:3:14). “I Am” is not poor, sick, or weak and we should never take His name in vain (Ex. 20:7) by making a negative confession. Your confession should be: “I am . . .” (Joel 3:10); (3) furthermore understand that “I Am” stands at the door of your harvest (Rev. 3:20). You must hear His voice and open the “door.” The only way the kingdom of fulfilled desires can come into your earthly experience is through the door of the present tense—right now! Whatever you accept right now, you authorize to come into your experience. Accept only good; and, (4) now is the time (2 Cor. 6:2). You are forgiven now, reconciled now, have been made whole now, and are now a partaker of His divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). Again, the key to harvest is living in the present moment and giving thanks continually and receiving this immovable kingdom by showing gratitude. Gratitude is an attitude (Phil. 4:6). Your harvest is so now, so act as though it is so!
